  • Fix image filters

Image filters are not being applied in the app
  • Incomplete version of the online app

    By Buzuli
Overall this app works pretty well for composing simple documents or viewing existing documents. However, it leaves out some critical capabilities from the real app. The most frustrating issue is that images cannot be resized within a doc. You have to go to a computer, open the web app, and resize there. The fact that you cannot even use the app in the browser (always redirects to the mobile app) means you are stuck with a hampered version on the iPad.

  • Please add some more features for practicallity

    By Ani.Ain.Ina
The google docs app is great for on the go editing and for when you can’t access a laptop, but there are some things you can’t do on the app such as reverting to an older version of a doc or transferring ownership. This brings down the effectiveness because what if I don’t have access to a laptop at that moment? Then I can’t transfer ownership or can’t revert to an older version when my doc gets wiped by accident. I don’t want to have to find a laptop or have to go to one, I want to be able to fix the problem and get the job done right then and there. Please add those features and others that mobile owners can’t access, or if you can’t do that, at least bring back the desktop version for mobile users.
  • If only

So far I love Docs. It’s free, it saves automatically, it has many fonts and styles, and some of the add-ons are a great help. One of these, for instance, is a Easy-Bib, a bibliography program, where you type in the relevant information and it creates a bibliography entry right there. Another is Google Keep. My one complaint is lack of a book formatting option. Unlike Pages or Scrivener, you cannot move chapters around unless you cut and paste them and this can be a royal pain. You have to store chapters in a folder then copy/paste them into the main work. If it were not for that, I’d use it for all of my book writing. I don’t know if the google people read these comments, but if they do something like that would be tremendously helpful.
  • Picture wont show up on desktop when inserted through phone

    By JazzyWorld12356
Okay so when covid first started and I was in school, a lot of my teachers wanted me to take pictures of my work. For example if I was in art, I’d need to take a picture of my drawing. Id take said picture and attach it into the google doc using the insert image feature. However, this is where the problem started. I’d attach my work in the doc (using my phone) and my teacher would say it wasn’t submitted. Because of this my grades started dropping. Of course i was like “what the heck?” And when I’d look at the document on desktop, it’d be blank. Like I hadn’t added the picture at all. And this happened continuously even when I spoke to my teachers about the issue. Of course this made it 10 times harder to insert my class work that needed a picture into google docs BUT FOR PETES SAKE PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM!!! I don’t know if it’s because the document was added to my google classroom assignment.. IDK but thanks a lot. 💀
  • Easy to use….mostly

    By MTSarah
It’s very easy to use. For the most part. However, the app does not have all the settings and personalization that using it on a PC has. Unfortunately, this makes mobile work sometimes extremely difficult. For insurance, on a PC, you have spell & grammar check and the app does not have this ability. Before downloading the app, I could bypass into the full version via Safari. Not now that I have the app! Trying to get into it via Safari automatically opens the app and I cannot get it to let me in via Safari at all.
