Where are the street names? Finding a distance between two points should not be this hard? A review on a restaurant from a stranger has very little value.

My sister recently got married and invited us to her house in another state. Thanks to Google Maps we arrived with no problem. Having the exact address make the process stress less!

  • Geared for EVs; not environmentally friendly for gas vehicles

Google Maps used to be my go-to map app, but lately I’ve noticed that the directions have me going through the most congested locations of the city to help cut down on the number of miles that I need to drive. This has resulted in doubling or tripling my drive time and decreasing the efficiency of my gas vehicle. I appreciate Google’s attempt at reducing carbon emissions by reducing the number of miles we drive, but it is not helping people who still drive gas vehicles. Google Maps should have separate gas vehicle and electric vehicle options in an effort to reduce emissions and air pollution. I am retiring my use of Google Maps until I am able to switch to hybrid or electric. Google needs recognize that their new system of routing for less miles and city traffic driving is actually causing further harm to the environment because most people still drive gas vehicles.
