  • Update: No Search improved to…No Synch.

    By thinkresults
According to a response from the developer, when asked if lack of synchronization is a feature or bug: “Thank you for contacting The Atlantic. The saved articles do not read over to other devices or the website. They will only appear on the device they were saved on. “ This makes sense - I tend to see the world from different perspectives when reading from my phone to pad to desktop. Hmmm… Perhaps from an Apple TV? 🤔
  • Search

    By GenoLG
Searching for the Search function. When’s it going to appear?
  • No search ability

    By JM6977
This app is perfectly fine except that you can’t search for articles. I find things that I want to read on other platforms and unless I happen to be able to find them by scrolling, impossible to find otherwise. Really hate using this app
  • Annoying!!!

    By Mirdeb
I would give it 5 stars because I love the Atlantic. But I CAN’T STAND a news app with no ability to search for the article(s) I’m interested in!! I pay for this subscription but rarely use it because it’s too annoying
  • Great search tool?!?

    By Cangeli327
Add search bar, add a search bar and add a search bar.
  • Paid subscriptions retroactively changed to include ads

    By Vethik
It is totally appalling and unacceptable that paid subscribers are now inundated with ads across the app, *after* they paid for an ad-free experience. Not only is this morally and ethically egregious, it violates Apple App Review guidelines to remove paid features (because Apple also, correctly, finds this behavior morally and ethically egregious.) You are better than this. Fix it.
  • Subscription cancel button doesn’t work

    By Nikolastm
Ba aware that The Atlantic is using illegal tools to stop you from unsubscribing. So you will spend months paying that you don’t want to.
  • Love the magazine, hate the app

    By le_saltimbanque
This app is one of the lesser ones. Articles are not well organized and hard to find, with not even a search function. The Atlantic can and should do better.
  • Cannot link print subscription

    By Gainsborough802
Even while logged in, I’m thrown into a circular error where it asks me to add and link my print subscription (yes, ready to do it), but there’s no place to do it. Always get sent back to the login page and asked to link. So frustrating.
  • Now with Ads. (And still no Search)

    By CalpCalpCalp
Latest version has Ads by Google now. Ads may be the norm in print magazines, but this is an app. The expectation is that when you pay for an online subscription, then ads are removed. Also, this app still does not have a search function. I’d like to read past articles using the app, but since it does not have a search function, I have to use the web browser instead.
